We set off today for a hike in the Fontainebleau Forest but, on this first Saturday since the end of the lockdown in France, every parking area that we tried was packed so instead we opted for a walk along the canal and, using IGN maps, found a way to turn it into a loop through the fields and woods between the Loing and the canal. A very easy walk with no change in elevation but very pleasant all the same. For the first time in years, we were able to see the huge carp in the canal as the water is clear after two months without any barge activity.
